PCC is proud to host official Speed-friending game nights!  

This structured game provides the support participants need to comfortably foster social connections and make lasting friends. It's a lively, pressure free, way for people to meet and get to know others. 

We are so excited to share our lives, likes, stories and interests with all our new friends!

Monster Minigolf

Monster Mini Golf Meetup-Garden City

PCC Members and friends met up for a round of mini golf and other games galore at the creepy Monster Mini Golf in Garden City. What an awesome turnout!  The staff at this place were very welcoming and friendly. The whole event had a nice buzz and a fun atmosphere, which was infectious!

Summer Sunset Meetup- West Meadow Beach

PCC Members met up at West Meadow Beach last week to hang out and watch the sunset. We had so much fun chatting, snacking and watching the sun set on another beautiful summer day. The colors of the sky were so vibrant! Pinks, purples and oranges took over the blue skies. Everyone who attended was so happy that the rain held out. We can't wait to have more meetups like this next summer!

UB40 Concert-Eisenhower Park

On Thursday, August 15th, UB40 hit the stage at the Lakeside Theater at Eisenhower Park. Long Island showed up with a lawn full of fans in attendance. The band from England played their sweet brand of reggae music, belting out classics such as Red Wine and I Can’t Help Falling in Love. PCC members were dancing and having fun! What a great way to spend a summer night with friends!

Speed Friending- Mid Island Y JCC

We had ANOTHER successful Speed-Friending event this month at the Mid-Island Y JCC in Plainview.  Everyone had the opportunity to talk about what they enjoy doing during the summer months, as well as about their other hobbies and interests.  We all learned something about each other and left the event happy, knowing that we had made some great connections with other peers.  We'd like to give a HUGE PCC shout out to our friends at the Mid-Island Y JCC for teaming up with us for this event, as
