Our PCC members traded a soggy winter afternoon for a world bursting with twinkling lights, soaring music, and pure holiday magic as we made our way to the iconic Radio City Music Hall. Just a short stroll from the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, New York City was buzzing with seasonal excitement. Even though the tree itself wasn’t fully lit yet, its famous star glittered brightly against the gray sky, as if welcoming us into the spirit of the season.
Inside Radio City’s grand, golden auditorium, anticipation filled the air. When the curtain rose, we were instantly swept into a dazzling holiday dream. Frost Fairies shimmered like winter light, Nutcracker Bears danced with adorable enthusiasm, and a whole chorus of Santas surprised the crowd as they multiplied across the stage in a moment of pure festive fun. Then came the moment everyone was waiting for — the world-famous Rockettes stepping into their legendary kickline, sparkling costumes flashing as the audience erupted in cheers. It was impossible not to smile.
For our PCC members, the trip was far more than a show — it was a celebration of independence, community, and shared adventure. One parent captured the heart of the day beautifully, sharing, “Thanks so much for organizing the Radio City Music Hall trip today. Luke has been raving about it since he got home. And it was his first trip of that length with staff and not me! Independence without isolation!”
Moments like these remind us why we come together: to make memories, build confidence, and experience the joy of the season side by side. From the Rockettes’ dazzling precision to the glittering Rockefeller star, the entire day was a spectacular gift — one our PCC family will be talking about long after the holidays fade.
Here’s to more adventures, more magic, and more festive cheer ahead!
