On Thursday Dec 7th PCC members and friends ventured to Rockville Centre to participate in some holiday caroling at the Village Green. After eating some delicious food at Mother Kelly’s and being treated so nicely by the owners of this quaint little spot we decided to give them a rendition of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Bradley our initiative leader for Nassau Voice Social Club handed out lyric sheets that he compiled, to all the songs that we selected to sing. We then marched down the block singing Frosty the Snowman until we got to the RVC Police Station. We then had a nice opportunity to sing to a few officers who came out to listen to our group sing Jingle Bells! It was well received. Next stop the village green where we witnessed the lighting of the menorah candle to celebrate the first night of Chanukah. Children were singing beautiful holy songs, the rabbi gave special messages. Hope and Beverly danced to Hava Nagila! We had hot chocolate together and some yummy donuts. The Christmas tree was lit and radiating its beauty. There was a holiday spirit in the air amongst us all. We somehow stayed warm despite the cold weather with the temperature around 35 degrees! Another wonderful well attended Nassau PCC meetup! Happy holidays everyone!
