On Wednesday, September 13th from 4 pm - 6 pm, the Friedberg JCC will be screening a new documentary about Harvey Weisenberg. We are celebrating Harvey’s extraordinary advocacy for those with disabilities while raising awareness and funds for the re-establishment of our
Oceanside facility’s café.
Envisioned as a teaching/work experience center,“Harvey’s Café” will be the model for culinary
vocational training for individuals with disabilities on Nassau County’s South Shore. Please support this important venture by attending the screening and considering a donation to the Cafe Fund Campaign.
